Melanie Brewster former owner and founder of Industrial Diagnostics Ltd IDC, Dr Benjamin France, Robert Lightbown and their team offer a range of expert support services for occupational health providers on a non-compete basis. Melanie is Clinical Physiologist, a trainer for The Society of Occupational Medicine and a committee member for British Standards Institute and lectures extensively in her specialist fields of noise/hearing and respirable Crystalline silica/Chest Xray services.

Dr Benjamin France is an experienced occupational physician and former healthcare management consultant who maintains clinical practice across both occupational and acute medicine. He has a particular interest in areas related to hearing loss; Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) and other vibration-related disease; any general medical health issues, particularly those which are cardiology and kidney-related; general psychological medicine and functional neurological disorders (FND). He is also under appointment by the HSE to undertake medical assessments in relation to Ionising Radiation under IRR17, plus regularly performs Safety Critical Worker medicals and Asbestos medical assessment for workers undertaking notifiable non-licensed work (NNLW). He has also obtained additional legal qualification in occupational health law, ensuring rigorous reports that give clients confidence in relation to their legal position.

Robert Lightbown, a qualified HGV mechanic and fabricator has 25 years’ experience in design and build of occupational health fleets and associated fleet and asset management.
